Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Vanish AI collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Vanish AI website, iOS application, AI image features, AI video features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
It applies when you create or use an account, select and upload media, choose templates, request AI generation, view or save results, contact support, or otherwise interact with the Service.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
This Policy describes Vanish AI's current product behavior. It is not legal advice and does not create rights beyond applicable law and the agreements that apply to your use of the Service.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create or use an account, we process your email address, server user ID, authentication status, and session information. Authentication credentials are stored on your device using Apple Keychain.
Media and generation information
We process the photos or images you deliberately select, template selections, generation requests, task status, generated results, and the local creation records needed to provide the feature.
App, device, and network information
We may process app version, device and operating-system information, a persistent app or device identifier, device language or region setting, IP address, user-agent information, request timestamps, and diagnostic or security information. A device region setting is not GPS or precise location data.
Support information
If you contact us, we process your message, contact details, and the information you choose to provide.
Sensitive information
A photo you choose to upload may contain a visible face. As explained in the Face Data section below, Vanish AI processes only the complete photo and does not extract or create biometric or facial-recognition data from it. Vanish AI does not intentionally request government identifiers, financial account numbers, precise location, health information, biometric templates, or other sensitive personal data. Do not upload media or send support messages containing sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request and you have the right to provide it.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate accounts; provide, monitor, and troubleshoot AI generation; store and display local creations; secure the Service; prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited content; respond to support and privacy requests; and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information.
AI Media Processing
When you deliberately initiate a generation request, the complete source photo you selected, your template choice, and related generation information are securely transmitted to servers operated by Vanish AI. Vanish AI uses only its internally developed and self-hosted AI service to produce the result you request.
Vanish AI does not send user photos, visible faces in those photos, generation requests, or generated results to any third-party AI service, model provider, or AI API.
Uploaded media and generated outputs remain your User Content. We use them only to deliver the requested generation, perform safety or content review, and support service troubleshooting. We do not use them for facial recognition, advertising, profiling, data mining, or AI model training.
Content that appears sensitive, unsafe, illegal, abusive, sexually explicit, non-consensual, infringing, or otherwise prohibited may be analyzed, blocked, deleted, or withheld from display.
AI outputs may be unexpected, inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review generated images or videos before saving, sharing, publishing, or using them commercially.
Face Data
What we collect
A complete photo deliberately selected by a user may contain a visible face. Vanish AI collects and processes only that complete photo for the generation request initiated by the user.
Vanish AI does not detect, extract, create, collect, or store facial landmarks, facial geometry, face embeddings, faceprints, biometric identifiers, facial-recognition templates, or any other data used to identify a person by their face. Vanish AI does not use Face ID, TrueDepth, ARKit facial mapping, facial recognition, or face-based authentication.
How we use face-containing photos
We process the complete photo only to generate the result requested by the user, perform content-safety review, and troubleshoot that generation request. We do not use a photo or a visible face within it to identify or authenticate any person, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, analytics, data mining, or AI model training.
Sharing, storage, and retention
We do not share user photos, visible faces within those photos, or separately derived face data with any third-party AI service because Vanish AI uses only its own self-hosted AI service and does not derive separate face data. Uploaded photos and server-generated results are temporarily stored on infrastructure operated for Vanish AI in Singapore or the United States for no longer than 48 hours, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. No separate face data is retained because no facial landmarks, embeddings, faceprints, biometric identifiers, or facial-recognition templates are extracted or created.
Storage, Retention, and Deletion
- Server media: Complete source photos uploaded for generation and generated server-side images or videos are temporarily stored in Singapore or the United States for no longer than 48 hours and are then automatically and permanently deleted.
- Face data: Vanish AI does not retain separate face data because it does not extract or create facial landmarks, facial geometry, embeddings, faceprints, biometric identifiers, or facial-recognition templates from uploaded photos. A visible face that forms part of a complete uploaded photo is deleted with that photo within the 48-hour server-media limit.
- Local creations: Source copies, generated results, thumbnails, and creation records stored on your device remain until you delete them, delete your account, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
- Account information: Email address, server user ID, and authentication information are retained while the account exists. In-app account deletion permanently deletes the server account information and authentication state.
- Support, security, and legal records: These are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law.
Account Deletion and Your Choices
Before the first upload, the app explains what will be sent, who will receive it, how it will be used, where it will be stored, and how long it will be retained. If you choose Not Now, the selected photo is not uploaded. You may withdraw permission for future uploads at any time under Profile > Settings > AI Media Processing. Withdrawal prevents new uploads but does not reverse processing that has already completed; temporary server media remains subject to the 48-hour automatic-deletion limit.
You can delete individual local creations in the app. You can also permanently delete your account from the Profile screen by choosing Delete Account and confirming the request.
Account deletion is irreversible. After the server confirms deletion, the app removes account-related local creations and credentials, the server account cannot be restored or used to sign in again, and server media remains subject to the 48-hour automatic-deletion limit described above.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport and platform security tools such as Apple Keychain for authentication credentials. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
International Processing
Vanish AI operates infrastructure in Singapore and the United States. Your information may therefore be processed in either location, which may be outside the country or region where you live. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards intended to protect information during those transfers.
Age Restriction
Vanish AI is offered only to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has used the Service, contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. We will update the date and version on this page and provide additional notice when required by law.
